I would like to introduced my little bundle of joy to my family and friends who read/stopped by here. His name is Garin Adam he was born on the 28th of December, 2005. Weight 6 lbs and 4 ounces. He is a real sweetheart and I might add he is a very good baby so far, he likes to sleep even at night. ~_^ So, yes, I do still have time for myself even if just 5 minutes that is more than enough time for me to spend in the bathroom!
Few hours old.
Anyway, now we are officially parents of 3 healthy kids, and we are loving every bet of it! Yeah, it would get a bet busy in our house hold at a time. But we do still have time to enjoy and do some of the things that we like to do before Garin was born. So far my recovery is good I have no preblem as of yet. Well, you see after giving birth and my milk would start flowing in I would get sick from it. But this time I am more careful, eat healhty, drinks plenty of fluid and take naps when I can. John is a good help, he is taking care of almost everything in our household plus the kids. Looking at him doing these things for me, it made me realized of how lucky I am to have John as my husband and the father of my kids. He do cares about me and his kids obviously, but hey, bear with me. I am just one of the proud wife in this Universe. I don't really like bragging about my husband since for me "action speaks louder than words". So, I should just leave it that way huh?.
I took this picture yesterday.. New Year's Day. ~_^
Back to my Birthing experience.
I had my Amniocentisis done on the morning of 27th of December-2005. That's where they would pock you with a long niddle to get some flouid from where the baby is living.
My Dr. just wanted to make sure that Garin's lungs was ready before he was going to induce my labor on the 28th. Anyways, we learned around 4PM on the 27th that he is more than ready to get out from my tight tummy, so John and I head back to the hospital around 7PM I had to stay there for the night for the early induction. Then the morning came at 7AM they started the IV's on me, an hour later the pain started, OUCH! At 9AM I was already 4 centimeter dilated, at this time I already asked the Epidural the pain was unbearable (induced labor is more painful then regular labor). I slept for awhile at around 11:15 AM My Doctor was there just to check on how I was progressing it was a good timing I was feeling like I was going to the bathroom real bad.
It was quicker than I was expected it to be I was 10 centimeter dilated and the next thing I know everyone were busy getting the stuff for the baby, nurses are everywhere more Doctor's came waiting for the baby's arival. I was a bet worried for my baby more than anything else. Well, the "pushing" him out was the scariest part, the pain was worse than I can imagine. My Doctor stopped my epidural before I can even start the pushing, his reason was it would get me going since I would feel the pain.
Yep, it did get me going alright but not without my loudiest screams.
After 10 minutes of pushing, finally Garin was crying at exactly 11:25AM.
I should stop in here for now. It is getting long and it is boring to read for some people. Whoah!
